Christmas Discos
As with previous years, we are encouraging all pupils to come to the school discos dressed brightly again this year.  This is to encourage pupils to remember to be bright and be seen now it is getting darker sooner in the evening.  There will be a prize for the winner and the runner up at each disco – this has become more and more popular over the years and pupils have become increasingly creative to be bright.  We look forward to seeing you all dressed brightly.

Welcome message from Lesley Pennington – Headteacher

Thank you for your interest in Whiteley Primary School. This website is intended to give you information about the education provided by the school, as well as keeping current parents and pupils up to date with latest news, diary dates and events. We hope you will find it useful, and that it will give you a flavour of our school.

Pupils at Whiteley Primary School are encouraged to do their very best and we are immensely proud of the achievements of both past and present pupils. As you will see from our information pages, we have high standards in the core subjects of English, maths and science, whilst offering a broad and balanced curriculum. There are many opportunities to learn new skills and develop hobbies and interests which pupils can continue to pursue as they grow older. Our talented team of staff work hard to provide an exciting curriculum for pupils, and have supported us in achieving a number of National awards, specifically in the Arts and PE.

I hope that you will be excited by what Whiteley Primary School has to offer. I hope, too, that you will share our vision for the school over the years to come.

Any parent thinking of sending their child to our school is very welcome to arrange a visit to look more closely at our facilities and see the enthusiasm of our children at work.

Kind regards
Lesley Pennington – Head teacher
