Whiteley Primary School are offering an exciting opportunity for someone to join the senior leadership team as a phase leader from September 2020. Our phase leaders oversee the teaching and learning across one or two year groups – initially, this position would be working within Y4 or Y5.

The successful candidate will

  • be an excellent classroom teacher
  • be able to plan creatively to engage pupils whilst ensuring high standards
  • have the confidence to motivate and inspire others to develop
  • have had some leadership experience e.g. year group/subject/team leader
  • be able to show how they have had impact outside their own classroom
  • have excellent communication and inter-personal skills
  • be a good team-player, willing to contribute to the wider life of the school.
