Early Years

In Reception classes, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (EYFS), building on the work of pre-schools, nurseries and childminders, as well as children’s primary experiences at home. The provision we offer in Reception classes is underpinned by our school vision ‘A Place to SMILE’, ensuring that our delivery of the EYFS  is tailored for our children and setting. Our aspirational outcomes, based on our school learning values, help to ensure that children leave our reception classes with a firm foundation of the skills and attributes required to be a successful learner.
